How To Control Nerves In Challenging Situations

The reality that the conditions and circumstances do not remain the same should be accepted by people. People should accept these changes and be more accepting towards it.

A human plans his days and his years. A parent starts instructing his child from the time when he's a kid. Instructions such as: look out for strangers, being caught outside when the weather is bad and etc are always given by the parents, but instead of stressing and worrying about these matters, planning and scheduling is done.

As Psychology Today says that usually, parents get worried on the slightest of things. What company their child has, the illness of a family member etc. Everything leads to worrying. One can be worried about the slightest of things, it doesn't necessarily have to be important things one needs to be worried about.

But the question is, what are the differences between planning and worrying. What distinguishes, planning from worrying?

Parents plan and schedule their day. Everything that needs to be accomplished during the day is usually planned. However, they get stressed or worried for the tasks that are difficult to accomplish. Worrying in short is a type of planning that leads to frustration. In order to avoid worrying, one should start being reckless. People go to a doctor for the slightest of illness, some believe that the illness would go away spontaneously and do not prefer going to the doctor even if they have a major medicinal issue.

However, worrying does no good. For instance, if a person gets worried about the risks of him developing cancer should consider two perspectives of thinking, one of them is why the thing would happen. And the second one is the after effects after when the thing has happened.

In case of cancer, almost 50 can be treated. And not all cancers are fatal. People get so busy in the planning of their treatment that they forget worrying about the illness. So basically, one should consider all the positive aspects. And instead of thinking about what might happen, one should consider what should be done in order to prevent a bad condition or in order to get out through the negative circumstances one is going through. Planning is better than worrying. And keeping yourselves busy in planning can also help in prevention of worrying.
