'Grimm' Season 6 Air Date, Cast, News & Update: Nick Burkhardt, Eve Going Solo? ‘Final Chapter’ Unveiled?

"Grimm Season 6" has just revealed its "Final Chapter" in a trailer and leads Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and Juliette Silverton a.k.a. Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) will seem to be going solo. According to the trailer Nick Burkhardt will be battling on two sides, one against the magic stick and the second against Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz). Sgt Wu (Reggie Lee) could be heard ominously warning that the Grimm and his new nemesis may be battling to the death.

Den Of Geek points out that the NBC series merited a "Grimm Season 6" because of its steady viewership. Citing official Season 6 synopsis, the media outlet posts that baby Kelly, whom Nick Burkhardt sired with Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee), may be a particular target by Sean Renard. Adalind Schade herself is not completely safe considering that her heart is with the Grimm and will side with Scooby gang in Season 6.

The "Grimm Season 6" trailer as may be viewed on YouTube reveals that Nick Burkhardt is going off on a mission. He would have gone solo, but Eve offered to go solo with him. Is this a tease that Nick Burkhardt and Eve - Juliette Silverton - are teaming up again in more ways than one?

In any case, the Grimm will need all the help he can get. Super Hexenbiest Eve, with her new powers - and despite interference by the magic stick - is still a strong ally to have. Especially if Sean Renard is out for his blood, and the life and safety of baby Kelly and Adalind Schade are at stake. How interesting that Eve would help save her rival.

This aligns with how showrunners Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt see their "Grimm" characters. People are neither completely good nor 100 per cent bad. This then leaves hope that Sean Renard may still eventually return to the fold as Parent Herald cites despite warnings to the contrary. NBC will air the premiere of "Grimm Season 6" on Jan 6, 2017.
