'The Bronx Bull' Critics Say That The Acting And Directing Were Equally Disappointing!

The movie "The Bronx Bull" showcases the life of boxing legend Jake LaMotta. To boxing fanatics, he is a legend and a force to reckon with. However, to most his name doesn't strike a chord and ring the smallest of bells. He may not have reached the fame that Mohammad Ali and George Foreman has reached, but his story is as inspiring as any other boxer.

The movie aims to show the life of the boxing legend from his early beginnings, his struggles, and his rise and claim to fame. It gives moviegoers insights on how he takes on life's challenges to foray into his chosen field as a world-renown boxer.

Unfortunately, the movie "The Bronx Bull" did not sit well with many critics as it premiered. There were a good number of missing elements to make it a good movie. Yes, the movie did well in terms of imparting the life of Jake LaMotta but the acting and directing was in question.

According to IMDb, a disappointing review from one of its users described the movie "The Bronx Bull" as awful. The user weegaz from Glasgow rated it two points out of 10. The critic even suggested interested moviegoers to not watch it, instead go for "Raging Bull" of Robert De Niro.

The critic was very particular with the movie's directing, producing, and even acting. It was described that the movie was all over the place. The movie reportedly jumped from one gap in LaMotta's life to another without bringing any of the parts to a meaningful conclusion.

As added by Rotten Tomatoes, only 38 percent of 132 users said they liked the movie. This is disappointing in terms of all movies shown for the month of Dec. 2016.

The movie "The Bronx Bull" is directed and written by Martin Guigui. The movie stars William Forsythe and Jake LaMotta, Joe Mantegna as Rick Rosselli, and Tom Sizemore as Tony. They are also joined by Natasha Henstridge as Sally, Paul Sorvino as Giuseppe LaMotta, Penelope Ann Miller as Debbie Forrester, and many more.
