Adam Sandler Admits Daughters Aren't Fond Of His Movies; Can't Convince Mom To Watch His Netflix Films

Adam Sandler revealed his daughters, Sadie, 10 and Sunny, 8, aren't fond of his movies. The actor told Ellen DeGeneres this bit during his visit to her talk show Friday.

Sandler complimented DeGeneres and said his daughters loved "Finding Dory." When DeGeneres wondered if his girls saw some of his films since most of them are R-rated, Sandler said Sadie and Sunny watched the PG-13 ones. Only, they couldn't watch it all the way through.

"They beg to see them," Sandler said and added the girls often wondered whenever people approached their dad about his films on the street, as per Vanity Fair. "I'd say about 20 minutes in, and then I see them tuning out, and then I hear them. They're nervous to say it, but like, 'Can we watch something else?'" he said further.

Sandler, however, didn't take offense about his daughter's reaction towards his movies, as per E! News. He described his children as nice kids. "I love 'em. I love 'em more than anything," he said.

Sandler married Jacqueline Titone in 2003 and had Sadie in 2006 and Sunny in 2008. The Hollywood dad, 50, said he's a worrier as a dad.

"I've learned in life now that when your kid is upset you're rocked until they're not upset anymore," he told Huffington Post. "You're always nervous because you want your kid to be happy."

Meanwhile, the "50 First Dates" star is keeping busy with movie projects on Netflix. He released "Ridiculous 6" and "The Do-Over" on the streaming site and his third Netflix movie "Sandy Wexler" will stream beginning April 14.

Sandler told The Hollywood Reporter, however, that this new streaming platform for watching movies isn't popular with his mom. The actor already taught his mother how to use the service but she's not biting, thus she hasn't seen her son's latest work.

Incidentally, Sandler inked an additional four-movie deal with Netflix, which he knows his mom won't get to see. "She's just going to skip my next eight movies and then we will get her back," he joked.
