Panda cubs in China's Chengdu research reserve have been filmed enjoying sunbathing and learning to walk, climb and sit up. The footage, filmed over a three week period from the start of September, is from a unique video project called iPanda.com which films the rare bears on multiple cameras 24 hours a day. The bears are seen attempting to climb and and sit without support from the researchers on the reserve. The base opened in 1987 with six giant pandas from the wild. A successful breeding campaign means it is now home to more than 150 bears.
