Most pregnancy test kits provide reliable results on the first day of your missed period. However, some kits could give you correct results four to five days before your period's expected first day. Make sure to read the label of the kit before use so that you could get the correct results.

Missed period

The first and most noticeable sign that you should take a pregnancy test is when you missed your period. This is especially true for sexually active women.

Breast changes

During the early stages of pregnancy, a woman may experience sore and swollen breasts. You have to remember, though, that it also happens before a period. Other women notice darker nipples and larger areola during pregnancy.

Cramping

Some women get cramps before getting their period. But if a few days had already passed and no signs of bleeding, better take the pregnancy test.

Light bleeding

Implantation bleeding may look like the start of your period. You may notice lighter bleeding when the embryo attaches to the uterine wall.

Fatigue
