Kate Middleton News: Royal Mom Shares New Princess Charlotte Photo on Instagram – Look Here!

Kate Middleton and Prince William have been very protective of their royal babies, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, but recently, the Duchess of Cambridge released some rare photographs of their youngest child to mark her turning six months old, per Celebuzz.

Yesterday, the royal couple's The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry's official Instagram account, kensingtonroyal, posted two photos of the adorable Princess Charlotte, which Duchess Kate took using her Canon EOS 52 Mark II camera, per Mirror. On one photo, Princess Charlotte was seen all giddy and laughing with a puppy stuffed toy while sitting on a plaid green chair.

Meanwhile on another photo, the six-month-old princess looked straight to the camera while wearing a floral dress with a ruffled collar, cashmere cardigans and pink tights.

Mirror notes that Princess Charlotte got her bright blue eyes from her dad Prince William and late grandma Princess Diana. Kate's eyes are green while Prince George's are brown, which the Duchess of Cambridge refers as "Middleton eyes." The princess also has a set of a darker locks than her brother, which she got from Kate.

According to the photos' captions, the photos of the charming royal baby was taken by kate in early November at the royal family's home at Anmer Holme in their Norfolk estate, and "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to be able to share two new photographs of Princess Charlotte."

The royal couple's Instagram account further said that Prince William and Kate Middleton have appreciated the "warm messages" they received around the world about Princess Charlotte and "hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do."

Mirror notes that the last time the public got a glimpse of Princess Charlotte was during her christening at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate last July 5.

Meanwhile, a royal aide told the Daily Mail that "‘The duke and duchess are very grateful for the support they have received when it comes to their children and wanted to share these very charming pictures taken by the duchess. It is something they intend to continue to do."

Princess Charlotte was born on May 2 at St Mary's Hospital's Lindo Wing. Her full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana after her great grandmother the Queen and late grandma Princess Diana.
