Britney Spears sent her fans into a frenzy on Friday, March 18, after posting a pregnancy clip on Instagram. The superstar singer shared a video of a heavily pregnant tummy with a caption, "Mommy ... get me out of here!!!!!"

According to the Daily Star, Spears posted the video during the week when she befuddled her 40 million followers by deleting her Instagram account. The social media departure proved to be short-lived for the "Toxic" singer, who marked her return with a cryptic message.

Spears reactivated her account with a bang, hinting at a future pregnancy and posting several sultry pictures of herself. All the talk now is whether or not Spears is pregnant with her third child. Fans cannot believe their eyes with the recent posts of their idol, with some fans speculating that she is indeed expecting another baby.

One fan posted, "Hopefully you get to have another baby just like you've wanted." Another fan said, "GIRL thought u were pregnant," while another replied, "I think she's been subtly hinting she is."

Other comments included a fan asking Spears the question "Got something to tell us," and someone saying, "If she's pregnant that would explain a lot." Another fan commented with a pun, saying "Hit Me Baby One More Time," clearly referencing one of Spears' hit songs.

We have to pump the brakes, though, on the Britney Spears pregnancy speculation as the video she posted was from a TikTok user named "lirios9595," with the Grammy Award winner just deciding to share that clip.

The 40-year-old star shares two sons with her former husband, Kevin Federline, 16-year-old Sean Preston and 15-year-old Jayden James. She is currently engaged to actor and personal trainer Sam Asghari. He popped the question to the Princess of Pop last September.

Asghari's manager Brandon Cohen, confirmed the engagement to Us Weekly, saying that the couple made their long-standing relationship official at Spears' home, and they are deeply touched by the support, dedication, and love expressed to them.

Spears wants to start a family soon

Spears has made it clear that she wants to start a family with Ashgari, posting a picture of them together during his birthday and writing the caption "Happy Birthday to my Fiancé ... I love you so much... I want a family with you... I want it all with you !!!!"

Spears revealed recently that she was forced to use contraceptives while under a court-ordered conservatorship for 13 years, meaning the Hollywood star could not decide to have more children and did not have control over her own body.

According to the BBC, Spears has managed to regain control of her own life after the conservatorship ended last November. Britney is making the most of her newfound freedom, so her fans would not be surprised if she does welcome a new baby with Ashgari in the near future.
