The long wait is finally over for Rihanna as she is now officially a mom!

The "Diamonds" singer gave birth to her first child with rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky. The baby boy was born May 13 in the city of Los Angeles in California, according to TMZ. The name of the child is not yet known at this time.

News of Rihanna's pregnancy broke in late January after photos emerged of the 34-year-old singer proudly displaying her baby bump while going out for a stroll in Harlem with her beau Rocky.

Rihanna had already sparked pregnancy rumors a month before the big baby reveal when she was spotted dining at Carbone. A source told Page Six at the time that she was quite clearly drinking sparkling water and openly rubbing her baby bump.

The Fenty Beauty founder seemingly attempted to hide her pregnancy, with the fashion icon wearing oversize jackets and baggy clothes. Once news broke that she was indeed pregnant with her first child, Rihanna started flaunting her baby bump with her flashy maternity fashion.

The style-savvy star dished out a plethora of baby bump-baring looks while pregnant, from donning a completely sheer black Dior dress at Paris Fashion Week to wearing a sparkling silver Coperni set for a Fenty Beauty fête.

Vogue's May 2022 cover star told the magazine that when she found out she was pregnant, she thought to herself that there is no way she is going to go shopping in no maternity aisle. She added that it is too much fun to get dressed up and she is not going to let that part disappear because her body is changing.

Rihanna explained that her bold, belly-framing outfits in the past months were about more than just having a good time, saying "I'm hoping that we were able to redefine what's considered 'decent' for pregnant women."

She told Vogue that her body is doing incredible things right now, and she is not going to be ashamed of that. Rihanna added that this time should feel celebratory because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?

One person who is also thrilled with the baby's arrival is A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers. The "Everyday" rapper opened up about one day becoming a father during an interview with GQ back in May 2021, saying, "I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very."

Rocky and Rihanna have been dating since early 2020 with the couple going public with their romance in November of that same year. A Twitter user claimed last month that Rocky had cheated on Rihanna with Amina Muaddi. Rocky was then arrested that same month in connection to a November 2021 shooting. The famous rapper posted a $550,000 bail on April 20.
