Dr. Chiddy to the Rescue: Plastic Surgeon Husband Gives Wife a $35K Full-body Mommy Makeover

Mindee Chidster, a 40-year-old mom of three, revealed in an interview that her plastic surgeon husband gave her the "mommy makeover" of her dreams. The procedure, which she had long wanted for years after having children, involved seven surgeries and cost a whopping $35,000, according to the New York Post.

Chidster, who underwent a partial mastectomy several years ago, said she has been "self-conscious" about her uneven breasts and sagging skin for years after giving birth to her two kids, a son who is now 13 years old, and a daughter who is now 11.

Jerry Chidster, who is known online as Dr. Chiddy to his more than 500,000 followers on social media platform TikTok, was initially reluctant to operate on his wife, but Mindee was adamant for years about getting the work done to look and feel her best.

Dr. Chiddy heeds Mindee's request with a mommy makeover

Mindee, who works as director of finance and operations at her husband's practice, said that before surgery, she was self-conscious with her sagging and uneven breasts. She said she had a partial mastectomy about seven years ago and her stomach had extra skin.

Luckily for Mindee, her husband came to her rescue with a "mommy makeover". It typically comprises a breast lift, breast augmentation to add back volume lost after breastfeeding, a tummy tuck and skin or scar removal, and may also include liposuction. Jerry said he agreed to do his wife's surgery to specifically focus on her excess skin, sagging breasts and scarred fat tissue.

The moment that Mindee waited for so long finally arrived last June. She went under the knife for a six-hour surgery which involved seven different procedures: A breast lift, breast augmentation, fat grafting (removing fat from her back, chin, and stomach to her breasts), an "internal bra" involving a knitted surgical implant that supports breast tissue during a breast lift, a GalaFLEX 3DR, liposuction, skin tightening, and a full tummy tuck, according to the Mirror.

Goal of surgery was to restore wife's confidence and pre-baby body

Mindee's results were better than she could have imagined. She emerged from the long surgery with her restored curves, a newly-taut tummy and a DD-cup. Mindee was ecstatic about her new figure, saying after the operation: "I love the curves that he restored in my body. Growing up, I never felt secure enough to wear a bikini and now I'm 40 and own two. I feel so much more confident."

Dr. Chiddy said that the goal of the surgery was to help restore his wife's confidence and her pre-baby body. Jerry said that he loves helping women look and feel their best after having kids. He added that he was nervous before operating on his wife but it was something she could not do for herself.

Dr. Chiddy, who reportedly started out as a hand surgeon back in 2008 but went on to specialize in "mommy makeovers," has a two-year waiting list for anyone seeking out his surgical expertise, according to the Sun.
