'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' Trailer & Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth Now Dating? Romance Confirmed, 'Jen's Calling Liam' At Night [Rumors]

"Hunger Games" co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth have been speculated to be developing a romance for years but both reps have denied any romantic involvement.

Over the past few days reports have circulated that the 24-year-old actress and the younger brother of Thor, 25-year-old Liam have taken their close friendship to the next level. Per  Hollywood Life, following Lawrence's split from beau Chris Martin, the franchise star has turned her attention to Liam.

Apparently, an OK! Magazine insider has leaked that the two have been talking on the phone "non-stop."

The source added: "Lots of people were convinced they would wind up together, and they still could" and continued, "Jen has been calling Liam all the time, especially at night."It appears that since they friends have spent so much time together working on their wildly popular fiction series, "The Hunger Games," they've gotten extremely close.

This isn't the first time that the two have been romantically linked. Back in November of 2014, it was reported by the same publication that they two bonded during Lawrence and Martin's first split.

"It happened while they were in Germany, promoting the movie, having a heart-to-heart in Liam's hotel room," reported OK! During the time. "Jennifer was overwhelmed by all the publicity surrounding her [first] split from Chris Martin and her nude photo scandal, and he was more than happy to listen to her vent."

The pair's friendship began much earlier than 2014, however. Back in 2013, Elle published an article where Liam acknowledged the balance that Jen brought to his life. "For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment," he said. "But being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I'm much happier."

Lawrence has been linked to Gwyneth Paltrow's ex-husband, Chris Martin as well as her "X-Men" co-star Nicholas Hoult. Hemsworth, on the other hand, was engaged to Miley Cyrus a few years earlier and has been linked to his "Independence Day" co-star Maika Monroe.
