Tom Brady Said He Wants to be a Good Father and Husband Despite Football Career

Amidst speculation that Tom Brady's marriage is on the rocks with his wife Gisele Bündchen, People reported that the American football quarterback wants to be a good father and a husband despite being focused on his football career.

The football star has been hesitating to retire from football as he loves football that much but news has been circulating that his whole family has made a huge sacrifice already to support the 45-year-old player. The decision to retire has been revealed by the National Football League (NFL) in March. According to the news outlet, football is such a big draw for the quarterback and his family has to be patient with him.

Brady and Bündchen, 42 years old, are parents to a son, Benjamin 12 years old, a daughter Vivian, 9 years old, and Tom's son, 15 years old from a previous relationship.

The insider added that Tom needs to be home considering that their kids are getting older and from a family standpoint, those are indeed critical years for the parents.

Gisele Bündchen says Tom Brady needs to follow his joy

The rumors between the couple had soared last month due to the football's excuse from practicing with the Buccaneers that he needed to deal with some personal things, according to head coach, Todd Bowles. The Brazilian Model, Gisele, revealed her perspective regarding her husband's return to the NFL in a cover interview for ELLE's October issue, to be released next week.

The model said that she also has her concerns "this is a very violent sport, and I have my children I would like him to be more present." Revealing that the couple had those conversations over and over again but soon realized that everybody has to make a decision that works for them. The 42-year-old said that Tom needs to follow his joy, too.

The mother of two added that she has done her part which is to be always there for her husband but she also has goals in life to pursue. She then confirmed that she moved to Boston and focused on building a cocoon and loving environment for her children to grow up in and to be always there for them and to support them all the way. The fashion model said that she would be beyond happy seeing her children succeed and transform into the beautiful little humans that they are. Gisele emphasized that she has done an excellent job, per Yahoo Entertainment.

The couple are now living in separate houses

The 45-year-old football player initially announced retirement from the NFL, a year after he led the Buccaneer to victory at the 2021 Super Bowl. He stated at the time how he loved his NFL career but soon realized he needed time to focus both time and energy on things that truly require his attention.

However, the seven-time Super Bowl winner changed his mind, six weeks later after he announced his retirement.
The estranged couple is currently living in separate houses but still has communication. The US reported that there is no tension between the two due to Tom's extended career but they are now working through things and attempting to come out the other side.
