Kentucky Man Arrested After Allegedly Kissing 5-Year-Old Girl

Ernest Richard Bishop Jr. of Morning View, Kentucky, was arrested in Florida by Miami-Dade Police Department and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct, according to Inside Edition. The father's victim claimed that the 51-year-old Bishop kissed his daughter on the mouth onboard a cruise ship over the weekend.

The Kentucky man allegedly did it while the ship was at sea on Saturday night. Bishop was immediately taken into custody as soon as the Carnival Sunrise returned to port in Miami. He was brought to the Miami-Dade Police Department's Sexual Crime Investigations Unit for an interview, then to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. He eventually posted a $7,500 bond, and his arraignment will be in November. It is not known if Bishop entered a plea or gained legal representation.

Man allegedly breaks into a home and starts kissing teen girl

In another incident, Parlier Polic responded to an incident involving a sexual assault between a man and a teenage girl in an apartment. According to authorities, Saul Perez sneaked into the unlocked apartment and hid in the teenage girl's room.

The man approached the young lady and started kissing her. The adolescent and her younger brother yelled to notify their older brother. Officers said the older brother immediately jumped into action and eventually got his siblings out of the room just before the man jumped out the window. Unfortunately, the three siblings didn't get the suspect as he was quick to escape, but they remembered all the details about him, which the authorities used to match and find him.

Perez is now facing several charges, including lewd acts with a child under 14, ABC30 reported. According to Rainn Organization, one in nine girls and one in 53 boys below age 18 had been sexually abused and assaulted at the hands of an adult, and 82 percent of all victims below 18 are female.

In the United States, around 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys experience sexual assault or abuse.

Authorities seek an older man who assaulted a young girl

In another sexual assault case, Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said a young girl was molested by an older man who approached her in Belle River. Authorities responded to the incident on Broadway Street at approximately 6 p.m. According to the local authorities, the girl was riding her bicycle when she was suddenly approached by an elderly man walking.

The man stopped the victim and engaged her in conversation. He then proceeded to kiss the girl several times forcibly. The young girl pushed past the man, quickly left the area, and reported the incident to her parents.

The suspect was described as male, white, around 60 years old, and had short dark hair, balding on top. The investigation is still ongoing, and the OPP Essex County Major Crime Unit asks anyone to come out, specifically those who may have witnessed the incident or recognize the suspect's description and immediately contact police at 519-723-2491, per Windsor.
