Exciting news! Scooty McCreery, an American country music singer is expecting their first baby. A boy! The singer can't hide the excitement during the interview as he reveals the latest scoop in their family. "My wife and my dog drop me off at the airport and we hug and kiss goodbye. And now she's got a bump, and it's like I'm saying goodbye to three instead of just two.", McCreery tells People.

His love for playing shows; Leaving home and saying goodbye to Gabi, his wife for four years is getting harder and harder each day, he added.

McCreery is eagerly anticipating as his wife is due to give birth in a few weeks and when the child is born and sees the world, that probably is the best year of his life. "I don't think I've stopped smiling all year.", he says.

Becoming a parent for the first time has a life-changing impact on both the mother and father, but how does the dad transition to parenthood? Attendance of father in childbirth is considered important.

Being a better or best dad requires effort, as per Dad is Life. To adjust support and care during childbirth to the needs of the first time dads, a deeper insight and study must be gained to their experiences. Whilst the effort is immense but so are the rewards.

Parenting style to choose as a father

Before starting choosing parenting style, your goal must be clear. Some questions needs to be answered. What do you want to achieve? How do you want your child to behave? How about your spouse, what kind of child does she wants?

These questions could help you to see and get the long term vision on your parenting. According to Project Father, your spouse will play a big part as you in the development of the child. When the child sees that his parents are communicating well, they have better foundation in place. Through that, problems can be avoided. Parenting is about guiding.

There are three styles of parenting that could be utilized which can be tried to gain awareness of what's best style for each father. (1) Authoritarian father, creates a very clear idea of what is acceptable behavior and what is not. This practice discipline, along with this is the consequence that needs to be taken to be responsible of their actions; (2) Uninvolved father, this kind lacks enthusiasm and love to their children. This kind of style might affect the child's relationship to the father negatively; (3) Permissive father, doesn't get upset and just let the child do what he wants. Anywhere else, these styles are an imperfect art. These are continuously changing. Whatever it may be fatherhood is something that needs the help and support of each member of the family.
