Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is officially turning 11. Blue Ivy is the firstborn daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z.

Beyonce made the now-iconic revelation that she was carrying Blue Ivy during a live performance of her famous song "Love on Top" on MTV in 2011.

As the performer reached the end of her set, she confirmed the rumors that she was pregnant by unbuttoning her blazer and displaying her growing baby belly.

The child, Blue Ivy Carter, was then born on January 7, 2012, in New York.

This past weekend, Blue Ivy Carter turned 11 years old, and her grandmother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, celebrated the occasion by posting birthday messages on Instagram for her granddaughter.

Blue Ivy receives a tribute from her grandmother, who did not hold back on expressing how happy she was and in awe of her granddaughter.

Tina Knowles-Lawson started her birthday greeting with a revelation, stating that she wanted her daughter, Beyonce, to push Blue Ivy out on the same day of her birthday, January 4.

Lawson stated her desire to share her birthday with her granddaughter. Lawson wrote, "I was really praying and pushing your mom to have you on January 4, which is my birthday."

However, she later concluded that her granddaughter would come out at the right time.

Lawson added, "Knowing you and your personality now, I realize that you needed your own day because you were such a queen and you are so very special!"

The grandmother praised Blue Ivy's talent, saying she could sing, dance, act, play, paint, draw, sculpt, sew, write poetry, and many more things.

She ends her post by describing how beautiful, graceful, kind, and smart Blue Ivy is, and she could not ask for a better granddaughter.

According to Entertainment Tonight, on January 7, Blue Ivy turned 11 years old. She is the oldest of the three siblings to Beyonce and the Jay-Z twins, Z's Rumi and Sir, who are five years old.

Blue Ivy has not been spotted in public for a long time since watching a basketball game with her father, Jay-Z, a couple of months ago.

According to Glamour, the rapper was present with his kid on June 14, 2022, when they watched the Warriors versus the Celtics in the NBA.

Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, was photographed donning her Nikes and a leather motorcycle jacket. Blue's height suggests that she has entered the preteen phase of her development, as seen by the fact that she has gotten taller.

It was said that Blue Ivy Carter was seen with her hair in its natural state. Following the game, Blue Ivy and her hilariously goofy father were caught in a video posted on Twitter, greeting Warriors players.

In the video, the Warrior's Draymond Green noticed Blue Ivy and gave her a high five before shaking Jay-Z's hand. Since then, she has grown significantly, as evident in her grandmother's birthday post.
