Selena Gomez Rocks Red Carpet With Younger Sister Gracie Teefey

Selena Gomez posed for the Golden Globes 2023 with a cute mini-me date.

It is the first time Gomez has been nominated for the Golden Globes. For this year's ceremony, Gomez did not walk the red carpet alone, nor was she with a date; instead, she channeled her older sister's vibes by bringing Gracey with her.

You read that correctly, Gracie Teefey, her younger sister. Gomez and Teefey have a huge age gap having 21 years between them.

However, the actress has not been bothered by it, as she proudly brings Teefey along.

As reported by SheKnows, the Only Murders in the Building star treated her sister to a glamorous night out. While the actress wore a long black dress, her younger sister Teefey was rocking an outfit with a golden theme, matched with a sparkly bag and shoes.

In this Twitter video by Variety, Gomez walked down the red carpet all by herself, but when she was nearing the end, she later saw her younger sister and signaled for her to join her.

The two then pose, and the singer-actress kissed her younger sister on the forehead. A couple of days ago, the actress also posted a picture on Instagram of her with Teefey, saying it was a sister's date night. The two were wearing black.

One thing is for sure: despite the huge age gap, the actress enjoys being the older sister.

Golden Globes 2023

Selena Gomez received her first nomination for a Golden Globe for her performance in the critically acclaimed series Only Murders in the Building. She is up for the Best Television Actress in a Musical or Comedy Series award.

In addition, Gomez's co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin have also been nominated for an Emmy in the category of "best actor" for their work on the program.

According to StyleCaster, at the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Selena Gomez stunned everyone in a floor-length velvet gown designed by Valentino.

Gomez, who typically chooses more modern designs, opted for a more classically theatrical outfit for the red carpet in this instance.

The dress was sleeveless, had a modest cutout in the bust, and a slit along the center.

However, the most striking element of the dress was its voluminous, dark purple puffy sleeves and the lengthy train that draped onto the red carpet.

She added a contemporary flair to the look by wearing the gown with a pair of black platform heels that featured an exposed toe.

The column-shaped Valentino gown features many statement elements sure to steal the show. Aside from having to walk the red carpet with her sister and donning the beautiful long gown, the 2023 Golden Globes also mark a significant milestone in her career as an actress.
