'WWE 2K16' DLC, Deluxe Editions & Season Pass Details Revealed - Everything You Need To Know

Great news for WWE fans: 2K has given details about the Season Pass, downloadable content, and deluxe digital editions for the upcoming WWE 2K16, which will be released Oct. 27 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

According to 2K, the DLC offerings will include a story-driven 2K Showcase surrounding the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame; access to new moves, unlockable content, player progression; and a number of playable WWE Legends and WWE and NXT® Superstars.

“WWE 2K16 will deliver a unique and extensive selection of downloadable content spanning WWE’s past and present, including the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame-inspired 2K Showcase, a solid offering of new in-game moves and a wide variety of playable WWE and NXT talent,” said Greg Thomas, President at Visual Concepts, via 2K. “Complementing WWE 2K16’s largest roster in the series’ history, this year’s content offerings provide fans with an all-encompassing WWE experience at an excellent value.”

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the whole bundle will allow buyers to save more than 20% compared to when buying all individual content separately. However, the individual packages won't all come out at the same time – some will be released late in 2015, while some will follow early in 2016.
