A 2-year-old boy dies after being mauled by a dog in Maryland. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their best efforts, the boy went into cardiac arrest and later died at the hospital. As per Frederick Newsport, the toddler, who has not been identified, suffered life-threatening injuries after being bitten by a dog in the 400 block of West B Street.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack, but no further details have been provided. The officers also confirmed that the dog involved in the attack had been placed in quarantine by the Frederick County Division of Animal Control.

However, the Brunswick police revealed that the family of the victim resides in Fauquier County, Virginia.
