John Legend, Chrissy Teigen Pregnant With First Child: 'We're So Excited That It's Finally Happening' Gushed Supermodel [Photo]

The "All of Me" singer John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen are eager to start a family. The couple previously shared their struggle to conceive. However, good things come to those who wait. The couple is now expecting their first child.

The expectant-mom made her announcement in an Instagram post. "John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :)," Teigen wrote.

"As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx."

Just last month, Teigen admitted their difficulty to having a baby in Tyra Presents FABlife. "I will say, honestly, John and I are having trouble. We would have kids five, six years ago if it'd happened. But my gosh, it's been a process!"

Teigen even disclosed that they had seen fertility doctors before jumping into conclusions if they have fertility issues. The soon-to-be mom even stressed that she hates it every time she's asked if she is going to have kids because such question is hurtful to those who are struggling to get pregnant.

After her statement in the said episode, the couple received a warm support from their fans. Chrissy didn't forget to thank their supporters and expressed her gratitude in a tweet.

According to US Weekly, Teigen is ready to get pregnant ASAP after marrying Legend. The couple has been dating for six years before they tied the knot and both wanted a big family. They wanted to have the "Angelina-Brad-type brood", that's how much they love kids.

Meanwhile, a source told E! News the soon-to-be parents are very happy. Despite their difficulty to conceive, they know that when the right time comes they will get pregnant.

The same source added that Teigen is enjoying every second of her pregnancy. In fact, her mother instincts seems to have switched on as she works on taking good care of her body and making sure that she and their baby are healthy and good.

The expectant father is very supportive of Chrissy at this time, disclosed the source. Legend couldn't be happier than to see their first child.

Teigen admitted that she is aging, loves bouncing around and accompany John in his concert tours. They considered themselves bi-coastal for 10 years now, thus, having a home will be something new. However, Teigen is willing to settle down.

"I'm ready to have a family and call Los Angeles my home," said the expectant mom.
