It's Another Boy for 'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Star Phaedra Parks

Phaedra Parks is a mother for the second time and it's another boy.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star and husband Apollo Nida welcomed their second child, in Atlanta, Wednesday, Us Weekly reported. The new addition weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces at birth.

"Mom and baby are happy and healthy," the new mom's rep told Us Weekly.

The news comes shortly after Parks shared a photo of the Pastor blessing her baby bump Tuesday, May 7 on Twitter: "Early baby blessing by Pastor," she wrote.

Parks married Nida, a personal trainer, in 2009 and gave birth to her son, Ayden the following year. The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star announced her second pregnancy in December 2012. Though the couple wanted to have a daughter for the second time to fulfil her son's wish to have a sister, in Feb. 2013, they found out that they are going to have another boy the second time also.

"I will be having another little boy!" Parks told In Touch magazine.

Apart from that, during the chat, the reality TV star also revealed one of the secrets in her life- her fight with a life-threatening condition known as placenta previa during her second pregnancy. Placenta previa is a complication of pregnancy in which the placenta grows in the lowest part of the uterus and covers all or part of the cervix, leading to internal bleeding.

Instead of all these troubles, more baby news can be heard from the couple in the future, as Parks had earlier revealed her desire to have a big family.

"Ideally I'd like three kids, but I don't know if my poor uterus can take it!" she told Us Weekly in Nov. 2012.

Apart from that, Parks, who is an entertainment lawyer had announced her readiness to try her luck to have a baby girl the third time.

"I would entertain a third child, but I would have to guarantee that it was a little girl. I think that would be plenty after that," she told In Touch.
