An NYPD sergeant kills family members, including himself, in what is believed to be a murder-suicide case. Watson Morgan is believed to be the prime suspect for killing his wife and two sons in their New City home in New York.

Family of Four Dies in Murder-Suicide

The tragedy occurred when New York Police Department Sergeant Watson Morgan, his wife Ornela Morgan, and their two young kids, ages 10 and 12, were discovered dead in their house.

Sergeant Morgan was supposed to show up for his night duty shift at the Bronxville Police Department; however, the police department noticed the strangeness when he did not show up. His absence prompted the visit from the police department to their residence.

After arriving, the police found that all four members of the family had been shot, and there was evidence that pointed to a murder-suicide that had been arranged by Watson Morgan. The scene that they found was one of terrible misery.

At the age of 49, Watson Morgan had a distinguished career in the law enforcement field. In the year 2000, he officially began his career with the New York Police Department. Subsequently, he joined the police in Bronxville, which is a village located in Westchester County.

His relocation to Bronxville in 2007 marked the beginning of a key chapter in his career, which ultimately led to his promotion to the rank of sergeant in 2016.

An investigation into the circumstances behind this tragic event, which involved a family of four and resulted in a murder-suicide, is still ongoing.

After hearing about the incident, both neighbors and coworkers are in a state of disbelief. Given that Watson Morgan was known to be a devoted police officer and a loving parent, the events that took place are even more unfathomable than they already were.

Since they have known Morgan to be exceedingly kind and devoted to his sons and wife, neighbors are in a state of bewilderment following this news. At the age of 43, Ornela Morgan was a well-liked educator in the New York City public school system.

It is especially distressing that this occurred because of the couple's commitment to the community and their obvious love for their family.

Community and Colleagues in Disbelief

Watson has been a member of the Bronxville Police Department for more than a decade, and the department has indicated how very saddened they are by his passing. They issued a statement in which they expressed their condolences to the extended Morgan family and shared the pain that the Bronxville Police Department family was experiencing.

The department is in a state of grief, and its members are having a difficult time coming to terms with the unexpected death of their colleague and the awful circumstances surrounding his passing.

While the Clarkstown Police Department continues to probe deeper into the investigation of this murder-suicide, they have issued a call to action to anyone who may have information regarding the case.

Despite the fact that it is believed to be an isolated incident, the case has caused a great deal of confusion among members of the community.

Additionally, the Town of Clarkstown is offering grief counselors to students and locals who have suffered from the tragedy. These counselors are offering support to people who are familiar with the Morgans.

Uncertainty and grief have spread throughout the community as a result of the tragedy that occurred in New York City involving Sergeant Watson Morgan of the New York Police Department and his family of four.
