Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans Expecting Baby No.2

It's baby time on the sets of "The Vampire Diaries."

Alice Evans, who played Esther on "The Vampire Diaries" and husband, former Ringer star Ioan Gruffudd are going to be parents for the second time. The news comes shortly after Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies, who is popular for his role as Elijah Mikaelson in "The Vampire Diaries", announced pregnancy.

The new addition will be joining the couple's first child, daughter Ella Betsi Janet (3). Interestingly, the due date falls on September - the same month when the couple became husband and wife six years ago (2007), and new parents three years ago (2009).

The celebrity couple confirmed the news to E! News.

"Yes it's true!"  the expecting mom's rep told  E! News. "They are due in September and are thrilled and blessed to welcome their long awaited addition to the family!"

The couple, who first met during the shooting of "102 Dalmatians", announced engagement in 2006 and tied the knot in September 2007. After a 40-hour labor, Evans gave birth to their first child September 2009.

The actor, completely in love with his role as a parent, was always very talkative while referring about his little girl.

"Ella's very, very strong," Us Weekly quoted Gruffudd as saying on "The Rachael Ray Show" in April 2011. "She's like her mother, so I've got my work cut out for me at home."

The "Fantastic Four" actor is definitely going to have an extremely busy time ahead, as he had revealed his struggle to become a model husband while expecting his first child.

"I have basically been the best husband in the world," he told People magazine in 2009, adding, "or trying to be." "You go from being lover to husband, lackey, taxi driver. You just have to have so many caps on," he continued to the magazine, admitting about pregnancy that "it's been tough. I'm sure we have no idea what we are heading into. But we both love each other so much and really hope that we will create an environment of love and happiness."
