Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's marriage quickly came under intense scrutiny after they announced their divorce and the "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" actor was said to have been unfaithful to his wife with the kids' nanny.

Now, new images have surfaced showing the 43-year-old actor spending time with two of his three kids over the weekend. According to a report by Mail Online, the newly single celebrity dad spent time with Samuel, 3, and Seraphina, 6, at the Pacific Palisades Farmer's Market.

The "Argo" actor was credited some major dad points for spending times with the kids but it appears he wasn't alone. Ben was seen looking relaxed and casual in a baseball cap, grey t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

The actor and his children were accompanied by the family's nanny, a young brunette who looked equally comfortable in a sleeveless top, grey joggers, flat slip ons and dark sunnies. [See her photo here]

According to one news portal, it was striking how much the new woman resembles Jennifer.

Life & Style (via Star Pulse) has recently reported that per insiders, Ben has called it quits with his former nanny Christine Ouzounian because it was in everyone's best interest to put the scarring situation behind them.

However, it appears fans may get a deeper look into what really happened in the marriage and its subsequent break-up as Christine is reportedly interested in writing and releasing a "tell-all" book.

IB Times also reports that back in September Ben apologized to his wife of 10 years over what transpired and how the affair unfolded. "Ben took responsibility for his relationship with their former nanny, Christine Ouzounian," quoted the publication of an insider. "The relationship had started after the couple had already split up, but Jen was humiliated when the relationship went public."

Throughout the messy breakup various sources have reported that the couple are trying to keep everything amicable not only for the children but for themselves as well. In order to be able to remain strong and consistent parents, the exes have decided to remain living together to give their children a sense of unity and stability.

E! Online reported that the worst of the tension looks to have subsided now that Jen and Ben have been seen spending more time publicly together. "Jennifer really loves Ben and wants to be able to forgive him for the drama," says another friend. "She isn't going to ever stop loving him. He's the father of her kids and she wants him in their lives.

Both stars are determined to raise their three kids in a healthy environment.
