Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Divorce: 'BVS' Actor Letting Himself Go? Leaning On Mom To 'Nurse Him Back To health' [Rumors]

The reports between the "Daredevil" ex-couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been quite unsure after they announced their divorce. There were reports about reconciliation, pregnancy, pursuing of divorce and the likes.

While the marital issues between the pair remain unsettled, one thing is certain: both parties are struggling emotionally. Of  course, it's difficult  given that they have done their best to keep their marriage.

Affleck and Garner's marriage were rumored to be rocky, years before they announced their split. They have been attending marriage counseling and some other activities to keep their vow, but maybe things just didn't go as planned. A day after their 10th wedding anniversary, the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" star and the "Miracles from Heaven" actress announced that they are pursuing an amicable split.

Almost four months following the said announcement, the estrange couple is still dealing with the pain from the breakup. A source told Grazia magazine via International Business Times that Affleck's mom is supporting the actor at this time.

"Ben's mum Christine is in full control of everything right now as he picks up the pieces from his broken marriage. Chris' boys, Casey and Ben, have always been the apple of her eye, ever since her husband left her. Ben's always been close to his mum, but he seems to have taken it to a whole new level since the split."

According to Independent.IE, the "Gone Girl" star's mom had also been in a marriage breakdown and is a very good support to her son.

"Ben's in a pretty bad way. He's not really taking care of himself, he's not shaving, hardly washing and eating a lot of junk food and his mum can't bear to see him like this. She convinced him to stay in their family home so she could nurse him back to health. Now she's really pushing for him to move in full-time once he starts filming," the insider added.

In 2013, Affleck won an Oscar for best picture for "Argo" and  in his acceptance speech he said to Garner, "I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It's good. It is work, but the best kind of work and there's no one I'd rather work with."

Some misinterpreted Affleck's statement, thinking that their marriage is  in trouble, but Garner said, "'I know Ben, I knew he meant it as the hugest, warmest compliment in the world," The Telegraph  reports.

We hope Ben and Jen will soon be fine.
