Jennifer Nettles Unveils Son's First Photo on Mother's Day

Jennifer Nettles is very happy and proud to be a mom. This year was the first Mother's Day for the Sugarland singer, and she absolutely loved it.

Only five months have passed since the 38-year-old and husband Justin Miller welcomed their first child, Magnus Hamilton Miller. However, the new mom, totally overcome with her motherhood experiences within the short period, couldn't stop herself from sharing her happiness with her more than 90,300 followers on Twitter. Nettles also used the opportunity to introduce her bundle of joy to the world.

"So much love and joy on my first Mother's Day!" Nettles wrote, while posting a picture of her son. "A very Happy Mother's Day to all the Mamas!"

The new mom later took some more time to explain her experiences, making a journey through both the easy and tough period during pregnancy and birth, on a blog posted on her website.

"I have appreciated all of your supportive messages and tweets as I have been giving myself the space to enjoy this most sacred, precious time," she wrote. "However, I am also bursting at the seams with pride!"

During a chat with People magazine, Nettles also revealed her plans to enjoy her first Mother's Day with her loved ones.

"We're going to have a Mother's Day brunch," Nettles told People. "It's a good time around naps! We'll do a nice brunch and just relax."

After her divorce with first husband Todd Van Sickle in 2007, Nettles married Miller, whom she dated for two years. The couple tied the knot in Tennessee in 2011. The country singer confirmed pregnancy in June 2012.

Nettles, who started performing at school assemblies, joined Kristen Hall and Kristian Bush to start Sugarland in 2003. In 2006, Hall left Sugarland. In 2008, Sugarland received three Grammy Award nominations and won awards for Best Country Song and Best Country Group/Duo Performance. Nettles was also a judge on ABC's "Duets."
