'The Divergent Series: Allegiant Part 1' Trailer & Cast: Theo James Sets Wedding Date, Bids Goodbye to Woodley Love Team [Rumors]

"Divergent" fans who were hoping for a real-life Theo James and Shailene Woodley romance may find themselves extremely heartbroken as rumors circulate James will be tying the knot with Ruth Kearney.

In a new report by Movie News Guide (via Inquistr), the 30-year-old hunk who has been dating Kearney since 2009 will be walking down the aisle once the "Divergent" series concludes. The last two films of the Veronica Roth novels include "Allegiant Part 1" due out in March 2016 followed by "Allegiant Part 2" set to hit theaters a year later.

According to Realty Today, "'The Divergent Series: Allegiant' co-stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James are reportedly ready to bid their love team goodbye. Just recently, the filming for Veronica Roth's book adaptation for 'Allegiant' concluded, and fans believe that Woodley and James are on break and away from each other."

After two box office hits, Theo and Woodley's careers have been on the rise with James confirmed to appear in two films, "War On Everyone" and "The Secret Scripture." Woodley, on the other hand, will be part of the project, "Snowden."

"Divergent: Allegiant" Plot & News

Earlier this year it was announced that the final book in Roth's trilogy will be split into two parts, "Allegiant - Part 1" and "Allegiant - Part 2." It was later confirmed that the titles were renamed to "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" and "The Divergent Series: Ascendant."

MTV reports that the upcoming film carries the tagline, "Break the boundaries of your world," while "Ascendant" teases with the tagline: "The end is never what you expect."

Roth addressed the changes over her Tumblr page and wrote:

"What does this mean? Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes, but it's really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them. I know changes always make fans of the books - and the author! - nervous, but hopefully the characters we know (and love. Or sometimes love to hate?) will still be intact, which is really the important thing."

She was positive and continued to share that she's excited to see the final project. "I am eager to see how these movies turn out, along with you guys."

Fans have been eager to see a silver screen releationship translate to a real life romance. What are your thoughts on the rumored wedding of James to Kearney? Let us know below!
