'X-Men: Apocalypse' Trailer & Cast: Film To Be Michael Fassbender's Last Appearance; Will Magneto Die? [Rumors]

So much is expected from Michael Fassbender a.k.a. Magneto in "X-Men: Apocalypse" because previous reports revealed that the actor will have a huge role in the film.  According to Entertainment Weekly, Bryan Singer teased about an "emotional" scene from the actor, which the director hopes will make a cut.

Singer revealed that they were at the end of a scene when Fassbender  requested not to call cut when the  scene was over. The actor did something that made him cry in the tent. "I've never done that before...It's a heartbreaking scene, not a typical comic book movie scene at all, so let's hope it makes the cut," Singer said.

"But after he did it, I went up to him, hugged him and said, 'Thank you, Michael, for that gift. Now I need you to do it again.' And he did it, and f-ing rocked it again...with full emotion."

The scene Singer  teased made fans think, what was it all about? Magneto is reportedly instrumental in Apocalypse's rise  to power, according to previous plot rumors. In fact, it was mentioned that the film is "apocalyptic" due to the impact of death and destruction. Will Magneto be among the victims?

According to Yibada, "X-Men: Apocalypse" could be Fassbender's last appearance in the "X-Men" franchise because there's a possibility that he will die in the film. Magneto might make a final heroic turnaround and sacrifice himself to defeat the titular villain Apocalypse.

Or the emotional scene could be between Magneto and Mystique (Jeniffer Lawrence). According to the report, Magneto is romantically  linked to Mystique, there's a chance that the heartbreaking scene features Magneto grieving on Mystique's death. Maybe, Singer  opted not to mention  Mystique during the interview to avoid giving too much information.

But will there still be a romance between Mystique and Magneto, given that Magneto is trying to live a normal life?

In an earlier report from Parent Herald,  Fassbender revealed that his character is trying to live a normal life in Poland. "He has fallen in love and leaves his metal ways behind him," Fassbender said. Unfortunately, his love story was not meant  for a happy ending. The woman left him broken hearted and when he was at the lowest point of his life, Apocalypse convinces him to be one of his Four Horsemen.

If Fassbender is living a normal life, maybe his  love interest is not another mutant but an ordinary woman. Well, let's see.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" premieres on May 27, 2016.
