Britney Spears Reveals She Wants a Daughter

Superstar mama Britney Spears is already planning on having another child, and is keen to add a baby girl to her family, according to the Daily Mail.

Spears is mother to two boys, Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James, 6, from her brief marriage to Keven Federline. She's in a new relationship with David Lucado, whom she met after she split with her fiance Jaston Trawick back in January.

"I want a girl," Spears said when speaking to "Extra".

During the interview, a chat about the star's career, fitness routine, and family, host Mario Lopez mentioned that he was "very jealous" that the star had boys, to which Spears said, "Aww, I want a girl!"

When host Lopez pressed if she was serious about having a girl, saying "Oh, you do want a girl! So later on, maybe a little girl?,"  Spears simply said, "Yes!"

Spears also said that she wouldn't be surprised if her sons followed in her footsteps and got into the entertainment industry.

"They do like attention, so I think they would probably be a little good in the limelight," she said. "We're taking baby steps at this point as far as agencies and stuff like that goes, but they're little comedians, so we'll see."

The singer, who is currently in the studio with will.i.am working on her new album, admits that her sons have "fun" in the studio with her.

"We've done like two songs so far, and we have so much fun in the studio," she said. She and will.i.am previously collaborated on her hit song "Scream & Shout" for his 2012 album "#willpower," according to US Magazine.

"[Will] is so talented. He keeps it so fresh and so interesting," she said.

Spears is also in negotiations to headline her own Las Vegas show.

"I'm excited," she said. "I love Vegas any time I get to go there, so I'm excited, I'm pumped. I haven't done a show in a really long time, so it'll be fun."

It looks like if Spears does have a third child, it will be a ways off, as she is currently very busy with her career.
