Tamar Braxton Cradles Baby Bump at 2013 BET Awards Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

R&B singer and reality star Tamar Braxton caressed her baby bump on the red carpet for photogtaphers at the 2013 BET Awards before joining co-host Kendrick Lamar onstage to present this year's award nominees, according to the Daily Mail.

The pregnant songstress wore an all-black outfit, consisting of a fitted black halter dress with pretty details at the neckline that hugged her curves and displayed the outlines of her prominent baby bump.

She wore her long hair slicked back in a manageable ponytail that showed off her pretty face, and didn't let her pregnancy stop her from rocking a pair of strappy black stilettos.

She was bursting with maternal pride on the red carpet just minutes before she took the podium to present this year's award nominees, holding her protruding baby bump. Not only was Braxton a presenter, she was nominated for an award herself in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Centric Award categories. Other nominees for this category include Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and Rihanna, while Chris Brown, Usher and Justin Timberlake are among nominees in the male version of the category.

Braxton, who is married to record producer Vincent Herbert, announced that she was expecting her first child in March during an interview on "Good Morning America", where she was promoting the new season of "Braxton Family Values."

Braxton rose to fame in the 1990s a founding member of the R&B group, The Braxtons, which later disbanded. In 2011 she reunited with her sisters for their own reality show, "Braxton Family Values" on WEtv. Along with working on her own music, the singer was featured as a background vocalist for Lady GaGa's hit song, "Born This Way." She and her husband premiered their own show in 2012, "Tamar & Vince."
