'Suicide Squad' Trailer & Cast: Two Main Plot Themes Revealed, Unlikely Love Triangle Explored [Rumors]

David Ayer's “Suicide Squad” is currently stirring up some hype among anticipating fans and will likely stir up more as rumors circulate, revealing some plot details.

MNR Daily reported that there are two sides to the highly-anticipated movie. While the movie is about a group of misfits commissioned to do something good for once in their life in exchange for their freedom, it still is a movie about people set in some extraordinary circumstances.

According to Movie Pilot, someone usually dies on "Suicide Squad" missions, hence the name of the team. Squad "puppet master" Amanda Waller has tricks up her sleeve to just do that.

MP listed names of the characters that are likely to die and those unlikely to die. It culminated with saying that there is a possibility that one character won't make it to the ending.

Listed as unlikely to die are The Joker, Rick Flag, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc; while those listed as likely to meet death in the face are Captain Boomerang, Amanda Waller, El Diablo, Enchantress, Slip Knot, and most importantly, Katana.

All of the characters are sent out on a mission without any help, and will face many risks that might be deadly. And although Will Smith's Deadshot has a death wish, MP reports that as bodyguard to squad member Rick Flag (played by Tom Hardy), Katana (played by Karen Fukuhara) will be the most likely to die.

MNR added that as each is a villain, each of them might just cooperate with one another to save himself, and not give any care to who will die.

Another plot that seems to be brewing is an unlikely love triangle between The Joker (Jared Leto), Harly Quinn (Margot Robbie) and Deadshot.

The Christian Post reported that Smith, in an interview with Empire Magazine for its fourth cover, talks about his character Deadpool, and how he prepared hard for it.

“On Bad Boys I trained in Miami with special-ops guys, but this is a whole other level,” Smith said of the training process, laughingly.

Then, he gave hints of an interesting detail that would give fans something to look out for.

“Deadshot’s actually eyeballing [Harley] a little bit. There’s a pretty ragged romantic triangle there,” Smith said.

Fans would know that Quinn is romantically involved only with the Joker, although reports also said that Deadpool and Quinn have been paired several times in animated movies and in the comic books.

Fans will just have to wait for the movie. “Suicide Squad” releases in theaters on August 5, 2016.
