'NCIS: Los Angeles' & 'Supergirl' Episode Spoiler: CBS Replaces Terrorism-Themed Episode Following Paris Attacks --- More Details Here!

The world was spooked last weekend over terrorist attacks done in Paris and because of this CBS has decided it will be shuffling terrorism-themed episodes from two of their high-rating shows. Per Entertainment Weekly, "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "Supergirl" are going to have changes in its episode line up for Monday, Nov. 16.

"Supergirl" was originally set to air the episode "How Does She Do It?" which has the female crime fighter stopping "a series of bombings" around National City. In place of this, the show will be airing the episode "Livewire," which was originally to come to the small scree after Thanksgiving, per Hypable. This episode will introduce a new villain who will be targeting lady boss Cat (played by Calista Flockhart). It will also feature Helen Slater as Kara's adoptive mother, per Comic Book. Slater's guest appearance is an ode of sorts as the actress played Supergirl in a 1984 movie, per Variety.

Meanwhile, "NCIS: LA" is dropping "The Long Goodbye" this week, as the episode features a young girl who is being recruited to join the ISIS terrorist group. With ISIS owning to the Paris attacks, the network deemed it prudent to change the episode with a story that was originally set for a December airing. "Defectors" is about a missing woman that the character Sam Hanna (played by LL Cool J) helped in the past.

Per Slash Film, it is not known when CBS will be airing the scrapped episodes and the network also took down the video teasers of the sensitive storylines on its YouTube accounts for "Supergirl" and "NCIS: LA." Some continuity to the show's story may be confusing to viewers, but episode cancellations, swaps and delays are usual in the TV industry after tragic events, per Reuters.

On Friday night, NBC decided to forego their live comedy "Undateable" starring Brigit Mendler and Chris D' Elia and pre-empted this with news updates on the incident. The following day, NBC's "Saturday Night Live" did away with their opening monologue in place of a bilingual message of solidarity for France, reported Hypable.

Music artist U2 also canceled their scheduled France concert for Saturday night, while Foo Fighters ended the rest of their European tour, reported Reuters.

Movie premieres of "Bridge of Spies" and "Jane Got the Gun" were also postponed in Paris as theaters were immediately closed and remained close over the weekend, per Slash Film.

Over 129 people died and 352 were injured in eight coordinated the Paris attacks.
