'Samsung Galaxy A5' 2016, 'Samsung Galaxy A7' 2016 Leaked Photos -- See It Here! [Design, Price, Specs & Release Date Rumors]

Korean tech giant Samsung is quite busy churning out a lot of devices in practically various areas, such as tablets, high-end smartphones, and as well as middle range mobile phones.

Samsung's Galaxy Alpha, a mid-tier phone, was one that signaled a sign of the times, introducing a focus on specs and materials. Now, second-generation models are reportedly coming – the Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, and A7. Phone Arena reported that leaked photos for the A5 and A7 have surfaced.

The second-gen Galaxy A5, listed as SM-A510, will come equipped with a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, featuring 1080 x 1920 resolution. It is powered by an Exynos 7 System on a Chip (SoC), that features eight cores that clock up to 1.6GHz, and the Mali-T720 GPU. It is backed by 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable internal storage.

It purportedly has a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front selfie snapper. It runs on Android 5.1.1 and its body will be made of metal. It has already received Bluetooth certification.

The second-gen Galaxy A7, on the other hand, is listed as SM-A710. It comes equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display that has a 1080 x 1920 resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU and an Adreno 405 GPU. It is backed by 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

A 13-megapixel rear camera is installed, paired with a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. It is also slated to come with Android 5.1.1 out of the box, and is also clad in metal.

Based on the photos, the A5 has a metallic back, while the A7 has a reflective surface on its back, which might mean different things: a glass back; a metal back with a reflective coating; or merely a lighting issue when the photos were taken.

Android Authority reported that although the benchmarks and the leaked photos seem to give signal that Samsung is going to release the said smartphones, the Korean tech company hasn't released any official word on the devices just yet. Because of this, hopefuls should take the info with a grain of salt, and should only wait.

Additionally, specs and features vary from region to region, so it would be good to note that reported specs and inner components such as processors could change when the devices are actually released at an unconfirmed date.
