'The Legend of Zelda' Trailer Wii U: Clip-by-Clip Review -- What We Know So Far [Rumors]

Last week, a new trailer for “The Legend of Zelda” Wii U was shown during Nintendo Direct, featuring 13 seconds of game footage that may reveal a lot of secrets.

This news comes from an analysis of the video coming from a collaboration between Zeltik and Commonwealth Realm on YouTube.

As reported by Design & Trend, the two Zelda fanatics have chopped the 13-minute video into a piece-by-piece analysis, which produced an almost 20-minute video, revealing details that the usual, average player might not readily notice.

Graphical design

First thing that everyone will see is how Nintendo has retained the high-definition graphical style of “Wind Waker,” as well as the added graphical detail.

The game company appears to have given mighty attention to details, such as the movements of the grass as Epona (Link's horse) moves through; Epona's tail and mane hair movements; or the sudden flight of the birds as Epona stops. This will give more life to the overworld, compared to earlier installments of the game franchise.

Equipment

Next, many details give some clue about Link's equipment, although these are still “probables,” meaning they aren't confirmed just yet.

Link's sword
This current sword seems to be the biggest sword yet. At best, it could be bigger than Biggoron's Sword, or the Fierce Deity Sword.

Arrows
The arrow tips or ends in the footage are green colored, which might indicate Link carrying normal or bomb arrows, unlike the blue-tipped arrow that Link used in the E3 trailer.

Travel Pack
Link also carries with him a travel pack, with what looks like a rolled-up mat attached to it. This indicates that probably, Link could set up camp in the overworld and spend the night there.

Satchel
The satchel looks different here, darker colored with a detail in red instead of blue. Probably a new item.

Wooden Shield and Bow
The wooden shield looks like it came from “Skyward Sword,” although the two fanatics noted that they haven't seen it before in other installments.

Looking like it's sturdier than other shields, it could mean that it's an upgraded version of what was previously shown, or something that could be acquired later in the game.

The bow also looks like an upgraded version of what was shown in the E3 trailer.

Places

The video showed some specific areas of the reportedly huge map, including a solo tree; a tent high on a rock; some groups of trees that could indicate a dungeon; and a lot more.

What do you think? Are you excited for “The Legend of Zelda” Wii U? It will release sometime in 2016.
