'Winds of Winter' Release Date: Early 2016 Launch on Track, Book Already In Publishing House; Shocking Twist & Iron Throne Will Be Destroyed? [Rumors]

The anticipated book "The Winds of Winter" has been making a buzz online and among fans for over four years now. Yes, it has been four years of waiting and counting, yet the sixth installment of the popular book "A Song of Ice and Fire" is still not available. However, new reports claimed that the book is already in the publishing house. Could this be true?

Many are pushing the New-Mexican author George RR Martin to finish "The Winds of Winter" soon, but the 67-year-old writer is not giving in to the pressure. In fact, "Game of Thrones," the popular fantasy drama inspired from the book series, has already caught up with him and it looks like HBO's hit TV series will end first before the last book of the novel series hit the bookshelves.

Parent Herald previously reported that Martin is writing at his own pace. "I've been hearing them come up behind me for years, and the question is, How can I make myself write faster? I think, by now, the answer is, I can't," he said. "I write at the pace I write, and what the show is doing is not going to change what the books are."

From Martin's statement, it seems that he is still working on "The Winds of Winter." However, The Bit Bag reported that there are speculations that the book is already in the publishing house and is only waiting for its scheduled release date.

In a separate report from Parent Herald, an editor from the publishing book revealed that "The Winds of Winter" is expected next year. Meanwhile, a Polish translator disclosed that he is asked to reserve his schedule at the end of the year for the long-awaited book. These reports gave the chill that indeed winter is coming.

Many are looking forward to reading "The Winds of Winter" to find out if the crowd-favorite character Jon Snow is still alive. But, there is more to expect in the upcoming book. According to Franchise Herald, there will be a shocking twist. Martin already hinted about this saying, "This is going to drive your readers crazy but I love it."

Per The Bit Bag, Loras Tyrell in "Game of Thrones" made a convincing theory about a potential destruction of the Iron Throne. "Basically, what I think is that there will be a huge battle between Ice and Fire factions," he said. "I think Ica and Fire will completely destroy themselves in this great war. It'll destroy Wseteros and they'll have to dissolve the Iron Throne because it has Valyrian Steel."

Do you think the Iron Throne will also be destroyed in "The Winds of Winter" when Martin already stated that the show will not change his book? Or is the idea of destroying the Iron Throne, the crazy twist he hinted? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
