Will there ever be a chance for Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck to reconcile? The ex-couple has been plagued with getting back together and moving on issues; all of which are from different sources, which only makes the report about them difficult to comprehend. What's their current status?

New reports suggested that the "Daredevil" couple is planning to give their marriage another blow by adopting a child. An alleged insider told The National Enquirer that Garner and Affleck's adoption plan was motivated by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's family.

The report claimed that the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Star" and the "Miracles from Heaven" star are calling off their divorce and are talking about embracing two infant orphans to join their three biological children. According to the source, both agreed that "focusing on their children" will help them revive their marriage.

The source added that Garner and Affleck "want to be one big, hopefully happy family under one roof, and give some orphans a chance at a better life as well." For this reason, they are seeking to add new members to their family-of-five through adoption.

However, Gossip Cop was quick to correct the said report stating that "it's absolutely not true." The report suggested that "while it's a wonderful thing to adopt orphaned children, Affleck and Garner aren't looking to 'grow their brood' in an effort to save their marriage." As a matter of fact, sources close to the couple just laughed off the rumor.

The publication corrected another report from The National Enquirer earlier pertaining to its claim that Affleck and Garner are getting back together. This time, they are busted once again for spreading false reports about adoption to keep the ex-couple's marriage.

Although it is difficult to confirm if Garner and Affleck will ever reconcile, both were very cooperative when it comes to co-parenting their three children. Parent Herald previously reported that the ex-couple will be spending their holidays together with their kids.

Yes, this coming holiday season will not be any different than their holidays in the past years because they will still be spending it as a family. "Jen and Ben are figuring out right now how they can best spend the holidays together," an insider told People. However, the source added that Garner only "wants to get along with Ben for the kids' sake."

In a separate report from Parent Herald, the "Elektra" star has expressed her interest to date again. In fact, she reportedly asked the help of her friends Reese Witherspoon and Jessica Biel to help her find "some eligible bachelors."
