Miranda Lambert Enjoys Thanksgiving With Parents Post-Divorce

American country music artist Miranda Lambert expressed her excitement about spending Thanksgiving holiday with her parents at their home in Texas. This will be her first holiday as a single woman after divorcing Blake Shelton.

In a report by US Weekly, Lambert's mother Beverly Hughes prepared a sweet package on Wednesday, Nov. 25, to welcome her daughter to their house in Longview.

The "Heart Like Mine" singer posted a photo of it on Instagram with a caption, "Nothing beats a handwritten note from Mom," and continued with hashtags, "#homesweethome #cheetosandwine." In the photo, one can see three bottles of red wine, beautiful flowers and a basket with Cheetos and Lays chips, which is reported to be Lambert's favorite.

It's not surprising that the blonde country artist loves the tasty junk food. In fact, in a 2014 interview by US Weekly, she revealed her fondness about the snack. "There's nothing I love more than Cheetos," she said.

Lambert spent most of her childhood in Lindale, Texas but she now resides in Nashville. She's recently been in the spotlight due to her divorce with Shelton.

The "Bring Me Down" hitmaker has been very quiet on making any comments about her recent break up with her ex-husband. But In most recent news, the 32-year-old Lambert talked about her divorce with Shelton.

"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," Lambert told Us. She even added that she is still trying to make sense of what happened.

"I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is," she said. "I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."

On the other hand, Shelton appears to be doing fine. DailyMail reported that the 39-year-old "Austin" hitmaker has since moved on after his divorce with his ex-wife was finalized in July.

Shelton, who serves as a coach "The Voice", is currently dating No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, who recently just got divorced herself.

The news outlet reported that Shelton has invited the Orange County native, Stefani, and her three kids to spend Thanksgiving with him at his ranch in Oklahoma.

Despite what happened to their marriage, both Lambert and Shelton, who showed up at the Country Music Awards together, appear to be in good terms even after the divorce.

"Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this, it is what it is," said Shelton.

Lambert is not in a hurry to find another romance as she is currently enjoying her time in the company of her family.
