Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Divorce: Garner Laughs With 'BVS' Star's Mom After Spending Thanksgiving Together [Photo]

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's divorce is plagued with several controversies. From third parties on the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Star" who was romantically linked to their former nanny, to rumors about getting pregnant and adopting twins to make their marriage work again.

Despite the issues surrounding their failed marriage, the "Daredevil" ex-couple continues to co-parent their three children -- Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3. After their public split, Affleck and Garner remain amicable to each other for their children. From time to time, they are spotted together with their kids in the market or church.

It seems that the ex-lovers are not only good at co-parenting their children, they are also able to maintain their good relationship with their in-laws. A source told US Weekly that the exes spend Thanksgiving together. The report claimed that Garner stopped by the Brentwood County Mart on Sunday with several girlfriends and she shared how she spent the Turkey Day.

The "Draft Day" star was photographed on the same day strolling around L.A. with his estranged husband's mom Christine Anne Boldt. Garner, 43, was all smiles as she grasped her daughter, Seraphina's hand. The two women appeared to be on good terms and even shared a good  laugh. Check out their photo here.

Per Daily Mail Online, the mom of three donned an appropriate fitting grey dress with two front pockets and a pair of black ballet flats. She left her long and silky brunette flow past her shoulder while keeping her accessories at a minimum. On the other hand, her mother-in-law wore a slack and printed top.

Although Affleck was not with them, he was spotted running around L.A.'s Pacific Palisades neighborhood, a day before. PopSugar reported that the casual outing occurred less than two weeks before Garner and the "Gone Girl" actor stepped out together for a family shopping trip.

Parent Herald previously reported that the Oscar recipient was leaning on his mom to nurse him back to health after his divorce with Garner made toil on his health. Affleck's mom has gone through the same marriage breakdown and she is a good support to her son at that very moment.

"Ben's in a pretty bad way. He's not really taking care of himself, he's not shaving, hardly washing and eating a lot of junk food and his mum can't bear to see him like this. She convinced him to stay in their family home so she could nurse him back to health. Now she's really pushing for him to move in full-time once he starts filming," an insider said.

Meanwhile, in a separate report from Parent Herald, Affleck and Garner will be spending their upcoming holidays together.
