'Teen Mom 2' Cast: Kailyn Lowry Misdiagnosed With Bipolar Disorder; Adam Lind Slams Ex Chelsea Houska For 'Corrupting' Daughter

"Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry is plagued with a medical crisis. She was initially diagnosed with bipolar disorder but, later on, she found out that it was a misdiagnosis.

In a recent report from Radar Online, Lowry found out that she had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder in a recent episode of "The Doctors." Dr. Shahla Modir spoke with her and provided her with a new diagnosis.

"She was having some mood swings and irritable, but she didn't actually meet the technical criteria for having a hypomanic episode," Dr. Modir said. "So to have a diagnosis of Bipolar 2, you have to have had one depressive episode and then you need to have symptoms like an inflated grandiose mood, increased activity levels, increased energy, plus three or more symptoms from the main bipolar criteria from at least four days. In our case, Kail didn't meet that criteria."

In a separate report from Radar Online, Lowry revealed that her mom was diagnosed with bipolar. She was going through a lot of emotional turmoil after her split with her older son's father and being a single parent, so she wanted to find treatment for her mood swings, anxiety and depression.

That's when the doctor told her that she was bipolar. "I did [a] psychiatric evaluation, and then he said I think that you are bipolar," Lowry recalled.

Lowry's diagnosis changed from "Bipolar 2" to "Bipolar Unspecified," but she has to stay under clinical observation to make sure that she doesn't develop the disorder for real. "'Unspecified' is basically that she doesn't have bipolar disorder," a friend of the MTV star told the publication. "She just has the potential -- based on family history and personality traits she has - to develop it. Bipolar 2 is bipolar disorder."

Lowry will need to have a routine visit with her therapist to monitor her condition and make sure that her symptoms will not develop into the disorder. Since the diagnosis is new to her, she doesn't know how often she needs to visit her doctor. However, she is doing her best to be healthy as possible.

Meanwhile, according to PerezHilton, the drama between the exes Adam Lind and Chelsea Houska continues. He is furious to his ex-flame and accused her of "corrupting" their six-year-old daughter Aubree by confusing their little one that Cole DeBoer is her dad.

The report suggested that the situation was equally confusing to the viewers after witnessing Aubree happily addressing her mom's fiance, DeBoer as her dad. Lind was furious and slammed Houska.

Houska's baby daddy disclosed that they only did it for the "worthless tv show." He added: "BTW everyone Aubree does NOT call Cole dad...Nor she's even want too ..."
