Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Reunite for Daughter's Birthday [Photo]

It's been a while since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their split in June after rumors that the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" had an affair with the family nanny, Christine Ouzounian. However, Affleck and Garner seem to be playing the role of a happy complete family during the holidays as the ex-couple was recently spotted driving together to celebrate their daughter Violet's 10th birthday.

On Tuesday, the estranged Hollywood couple was seen in Los Angeles driving around to complete some last-minute details for their daughter's birthday party, Daily Mail reported. Affleck donned a ski jacket and a black beanie while Garner had large sunglasses on. See photo here.

The two chatted while in the car while Garner was reportedly all smiles. The publication notes that even though the two announced their split, they have been trying to co-parent and maintained an amicable relationship for their family. Affleck and Garner have three children: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.

People also reported that before their recent spotting together on Tuesday, Garner and Affleck spent Thanksgiving Day together. A source told the news outlet, "They spent it as a family unit -- all for the kids. They had a great time."

Garner was even seen taking a stroll with Affleck's mother, Christine Boldt, along with daughter Seraphina. Meanwhile, despite having a lot of projects going on, Affleck made it a point to clear his busy schedule to spend time with his family. Another insider told People that the celebrity dad "looked very happy all weekend. He spent a lot of time at the family house."

The news outlet also said that Affleck and Garner are "figuring out right now how they can best spend the holidays together."

But has Affleck moved on from Garner? A recent report from MSN links Affleck to his former "Pearl Harbor" co-star and friend Kate Beckinsale. The two are allegedly "helping each other through splits."

Beckinsale and Affleck just got off from long-term relationships. The actress also broke up with Len Wiseman a few months ago after being together for 11 years. A report from KIIS says that Beckinsale and Affleck have been good friends since the 2011 film "Pearl Harbor" and has allegedly turned to each other for comfort.

“Kate used to be madly in love with Ben. He would make her giddy with excitement any time they were in the same room. She’s turned to him for support as a friend because they’ve stayed in touch during her difficult time.”
