Kim Kardashian Baby Shower Details: Kanye West Makes Guests Cry With Amazing Gift (PHOTOS)

Kim Kardashian had her highly-anticipated baby shower this weekend, and her boyfriend Kanye West agreed to make an appearance despite his dislike of the reality crew film cameras. While at the star-studded event, he presented his girlfriend with an amazing gift that made her cry, toofab.com reports.

Sources told toofab.com that West found out what books Kardashian's late father, Robert Kardashian, used to read to her as a kid, and then went and bought vintage copies of all of them to read to their own baby. everyone reportedly got teary-eyed when she received the gift,, which Kardashian called "too sweet!"

West also reportedly got Kardashian a Hermes diaper bag, in his usual over-the-top sense of fashion. Celebrity guests at the baby shower included Kelly Osbourne, Maria Menounos, Nicole Richie, NeNe Leakes,Kim Stewart and Robin Antin, and Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Khloe's husband Lamar Odom and Kris Jenner were all at the big event, as well as relatives from both sides of West's family.

HollywoodlLife reports West doted on his girlfriend during the party, even though he looked angry and covered his face with his hood when paparazzi tried to get shots of him arriving.

"He covered his face going in because as we all know, he hates the paps," a source said to HollywoodLife. "But once inside, everyone got to see how loving and doting he was towards Kim. They opened gifts together and there was lots of laughter and Kanye whispering sweet things to Kim. "The shower yesterday was a big celebration of love for them and a celebration of the next chapter of their lives together with the new baby."

The shower took place at Irving Arzoff's mansion on June 2, Kardashian donning a flowy ivory-colored maternity dress, her sisters Khloe and Kourtney wearing white as well. In honor of the announcement of her baby's gender, the shower was decorated with plenty of pink, as Kardashian announced she gave was pregnant with a baby girl!

"Kris gave a beautiful champagne toast, where she welcomed Kanye's family and talked about Kim's new chapter in her life, as she choked back tears," a source said to RadarOnline.
