'Man of Steel 2' Cast & Trailer: Reported Doomsday Plot For 'Justice League Part 1' & 'Death of Superman' [Rumors]

Very recently, the third trailer for “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” has been released. It has been reported that the trailer has caused quite a stir among fans due to the amount of detail that can be considered as spoilers.

One key detail that's interesting to note, according to Screen Rant, is the inclusion of a gray colored thing that resembles Doomsday.

While the conflict between Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) has been the core idea used in the upcoming movie's promotions, a scene featuring both of them united against a common foe seems to go against it. With Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) joining the fight against Lex Luthor's (Jesse Eisenbrg) presumed experiment, the movie just might go against its own title.

According to Movie Pilot, Doomsday's inclusion will give avid fans some ideas of what the DCEU could possibly hold in store for the future. The news outlet stated that Doomsday evolves and, in the trailer, it appears that he hasn't fully matured just yet.

This gives the idea that the three heroes might kill the beast in “Dawn of Justice.” However, it is possible that he will return in “Justice League Part 1.”

According to the “Death of Superman” comic, Superman fought Doomsday all by himself, which led to his death. If Doomsday is shown to be pitted against the three in “BvS,” it's logical that he'll fight the Man of Steel some other time.

That other time, according to MP, is during “Justice League” wherein the League will be facing Darkseid's army. Darkseid's threat will be so big that Superman will let the whole league fight against it, while he faces a more evolved Doomsday alone near the end of the movie.

Then, this will lead into a “Man of Steel: Death of Superman” movie, where both the Kryptonian and the Krypton-boned kill each other.

“In Man of Steel: Death of Superman....wait for it.....Superman dies. Shocking right!?” wrote the news outlet. “It will definitely be a draw just like in the comics.”

This theory, if proven true, will give fans a clear idea of where the DCEU is heading to.

On the other hand, another speculation that has surfaced contradicts the idea that the gray thing is Doomsday himself. Fansided reported that the gray thing, given its details, could possibly be an Observational Meta-human Activity Construct or OMAC.

These OMACs are powerful cyborg humans who were meant to exterminate metahumans and were first introduced in “The OMAC Project #1” in 2005.

Fans will just have to wait for further confirmation when it comes.
