'Captain America: Civil War' Updates: Chadwick Boseman Talks Costume & Panther vs Cap Battle; Winter Solider Origins Linked to New Character

As 2016 approaches fast, fans are getting hyped up for Marvel's “Captain America: Civil War.” The third installment brings a barrage of old and new heroes, but surely not for happy reunion.

One of the new characters coming into the movie is T'Challa, who is more known as the Black Panther. Screen Rant reported that actor Chadwick Boseman, who portrays the role, had an interview with Entertainment Weekly Radio regarding various things in the movie.

One of the things he opened up about is Black Panther's suit. Interestingly, it is made of vibranium, touted to be the most powerful metal in the mythical world of the Avengers.

He said that “[vibranium] has the ability to change form” while maintaining its superior strength. Because of this, Black Panther's suit has “the ability to absorb the attack of another person, and repel and respond to that attack.”

This is really interesting. The interviewer asked him if the suit has other neat things with it like weapons and other things. Boseman didn't give much detail except for the claws, which he said are strong.

Another thing that the interviewer asked is that, since T'Challa's suit is made of vibranium and so is Captain America's iconic shield, should they fight in the movie, who will win?

“I don't know!” Boseman said laughingly.

“If you’re talking to [Floyd] Mayweather or [Manny] Pacquiao, before Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, then Mayweather is going to say he’ll win,” he explained. “And if you’re talking to Canelo [Alvarez], before the [Miguel] Cotto fight, Canelo’s gonna say he’s gonna win.”

One thing he did confirm, though, is that Black Panther's shoes are cool. “The shoes,” he said, “that's the only part that I enjoyed [while wearing the suit].”

In another news, Movie Pilot suggested watching out for a certain character named General Vasily Karpov. The news outlet stated that this character, which is portrayed by Gene Farber, might bring light into what happened to Roger's friend Bucky Barnes, who is more known as the Winter Soldier.

According to MP, Karpov is a minor character in the Marvel comics who appeared with Rogers and pre-Winter Soldier Barnes in a joint American-Soviet mission to overthrow a base of the Red Skull. This mission, MP reported, sets the backstory for “Civil War.”

Moreover, it was revealed that Karpov is the brain behind Barnes' brainwashing and turning into the Winter Soldier, after a long turn of events. Fans will just have to watch the movie to find out what happened.

Are you excited? “Captain America: Civil War” opens in theaters May 6, 2016.
