'Galaxy Note 6, 6 Edge' Release Date & Specs: New Device Coming This 2016 Without MicroSD Card Option; Samsung To Release Pink Gold S6 Edge+ To Compete With Apple's iPhone 6s Plus Rose Gold Variant?

Samsung is undeniably one of the frontrunners in the tech world as it manufactures the bestselling smartphones globally. Aside from continuously improving its specs, Samsung has also been consistent in giving fans something to get excited about.

The latest catch right now is the upcoming Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available in a pink gold color. Android Authority shared that a pink gold-colored Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has already been manufactured in China.

Is this the Korean tech giant's counter to Apple's rose gold colored iPhone 6s and 6s Plus? At the moment, no one knows it yet.

Moreover, no details about Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + pink gold will be available in other countries. Samsung expects that this device will become more desirable for buyers with a new look, especially with the fact that S6 has not been reported to have impressive number of sales.

Meanwhile, several reports claimed that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be one of the most powerful smartphones to be released next year. "Some say that we might see if sport an ultra-impressive 16 core processor clocked at 3.1GHz," Tech Gadget Central stated in a report. "If this rumor proves to be true, the Galaxy note 6 will definitely be hard to beat in terms of power. 8GB of RAM and an Exynos and a Snapdragon chipset were also predicted, alongside 32, 64 or 128GB of internal storage."

"Some expect a 27MP sensor for the back camera and an 8MP one for the front-facing snapper of the device," TGC added. "Some people even suggested 30MP and 16MP cameras, but that just might be a little too much for the next generation of the Galaxy Note family."

To recall, this is not the first time that Samsung released a pink-colored device. As a matter of fact, it debuted two new colors for its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phablet device last October in South Korea.

Other than Black Sapphire, Platinum Gold and Peal White, Silver Titanium and Pink Gold versions of Note 5 were introduced to the market. "The Pink Gold Note 5 looks to be an answer to the increase in pink-clad smartphones and, at least based on the press image, it looks to be quite a deep pink colour," Android Authority stated in a report at that time. "As we covered in our Galaxy Note 5 colour comparison, the silver titanium definitely looks to be the best handset if you'd like the rear of the handset to double up as a mirror but of course, the Black and white colours are much better at hiding any fingerprints."

At present, several reports claimed that the next installment of the Galaxy Note series will be released this 2016. Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is said to have storage capacities of 64GB and 128GB.  Also, it will allegedly come without micro SD card option.

With the new reports claiming that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is up for a 2016 release, when do you think will it be available in the market? What are your expectations to the upcoming installment of the Galaxy Note series? Share to us your thoughts in the comment section below.
