'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Spoilers: Producer Says Show Ends In 2017; Chuck Lorre Revealed TV Series’ Success Had ‘Already Gone Beyond My Wildest Dreams’

Fans went berserk when they learned that two of the led characters of "The Big Bang Theory," namely Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik), will finally gave their first ever sexual encounter. However, it seems like it is going to be also their last as one showrunner for the hugely popular CBS comedy TV series revealed that producers are planning to end it on season 10.

The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Steven Molaro divulged that the show will end soon. "I think so. I can't speak to the future or on behalf of the cast or where we'll be then, but it's certainly possible that it could go past that," he answered when asked as to what could be the reason why the highest-rated TV sitcom may soon be on its way out.

"The reality is that maybe season 10 is the ending point," Malaro added. "The real answer is, I don't know, and all I can do right now is go episode to episode and try to make each one the best that we can. There's still so many episodes to go. Even if hypothetically season 10 was the end, I wouldn't be focusing on that yet. That seems like something that would be dealt with way down the line."

Meanwhile, "The Big Bang Theory" co-creator Chuck Lorre told the entertainment news outlet that he isn't sure as to when the show will end. "I'm not going to presume to know how many years this has because it's ridiculous for me to guess," he stated. He added that the American TV series' feat had "already gone beyond my wildest dreams."

Meanwhile, going back to Sheldon and Amy's night of coitus, the said scene was reportedly "handled with a lot of delicacy." Chuck revealed to Fox News that the steamy scene between the couple of five years was done in a very elegant way.
