'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer & Cast: Robin Included In The Plot; Will Joker Kill Batman's Sidekick? -- What We Know So Far

Several fans are now itching to watch the upcoming film "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" that several speculations about the cast, the plot and other details have been mushrooming everywhere. Now, the latest news about the highly-anticipated movie is the inclusion of Batman's sidekick, Robin.

Some sources claimed that Robin will definitely be part of a storyline on "Batman V Superman." A proof to this is the latest trailer of the movie which featured Batman (Ben Affleck) looking at a timeworn and ruined suit that looked similar to what his sidekick wore from the DC comic book stories.

The said scene, according to reports, suggested that Joker has killed Robin. Allegedly, an unnamed trusted source revealed to Latino Review that the Robin in question is the character of Jason Todd. Also, it was stated that two characters in the comic books assumed the character of Robin: the one being Jason Todd while the other is being Dick Grayson.

However, since the story of the film follows much older Bruce Wayne, it might be that Jason Todd is the Robin which the forthcoming film is going to talk about. "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will also acknowledge Dick Grayson in one of the movie scenes as Nightwing, nevertheless.

Meanwhile, International Design Times previously reported that "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has released a new 50-second trailer few weeks ago which featured Batman and Superman (Henry Cavill) fighting against each other.

With director Zack Snyder at the helm, the upcoming film is expected to hit theatres with a bang and even break box-office records. Other stars who will be featured in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" include Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Tao Okamoto, Diane Lane and Holly Hunter. Also, Aquaman and The Flash (Ezra Miller) will be featured in the film as they will have little cameos.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit the theaters on March 26, 2016.
