Kanye West Celebrates First Father's Day with His Baby Girl

After all the drama and hoopla surrounding Kim Kardashian's pregnancy, the reality star finally delivered a baby girl Saturday five weeks before her due date.

E! reported that Kim gave birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California. West was reportedly by the side of 32-year-old Kim during the delivery.

Sunday afternoon Kris Jenner, Kim's mother, wished the newborn's daddy Kanye West a happy father's day. "HAPPY FATHERS DAY @kanyewest !!!!!!" little one's grandmother tweeted.

Kim's younger sister Khloe Kardashian Odom tweeted saying the baby is a miracle. "I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love," the new aunt tweeted adding that further information will be shared at the right time. The baby reportedly weighs less than 5 pounds.

The Daily News' Confidenti@l column cited a source saying, "Kim is in love with her baby girl."  The source further added that Kanye was more than happy to celebrate his first Father's Day. "It is pandemonium in here, but Kanye is celebrating his first Father's Day. This may finally make him not so angry all the time. He may soften up because he has always wanted a girl," the source said.

West announced Kim's pregnancy in December during his Atlantic City concert. Since then there have been several media speculations about the Kim's baby and what delivery method she will opt for. E! Online reported that Kim had a natural childbirth.

In a March video of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians,' Kim was seen in terrible pregnancy pain. The socialite told her mom that the pain hurt her badly and she would be "never doing this again." Daily Mail reported that during treatment doctors thought that Kim had appendicitis. "That got me anxious because of your blood count. This could be appendicitis," the doctor is heard saying in a KUWTK video. The doctors were apprehensive about performing any operation on the then pregnant Kim due to possible complications.  "If we really feel strongly that this could be appendicitis, then sometimes we have to operate."

However, later they found that the expecting mother was completely fine and Kim thanked her fans on Twitter for their concern and support.
