Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Divorce: ‘Daredevil’ Stars Spend Christmas Together; Ex-Couple Remains Cordial For Their Kids Only?

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been plagued with several rumors after they announced their split last July. However, despite not being together anymore, the ex-couple decided to be casual and continue to co-parent their kids, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.

International Design Times reported that Affleck and Garner spent Christmas together with their family. However, it was clarified that the two are not getting back together soon as their "united from post-split" is plainly just for their kids.

As a matter of fact, an unnamed source told Us Weekly that Affleck and Garner are almost never alone without their children. "They don't hang out. It's a cordial relationship," the insider said of the two who announced that they are splitting after 10 years of being together.

IDesignTimes added that the ex-couple's kids know that the relationship of their parents are on the rocks right now. However, despite their separation, Affleck and Garner are very careful not to rock the boat. "The kids' lives have not changed much," another insider divulged. "Things still feel pretty normal to them."

Parent Herald previously reported that Garner got mad at Affleck after learning that the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor has been flirting with co-star Sienna Miller on the set of "Live by Night." The "Elektra" star was furious and the ex-couple had a huge fight.

It was reported that Garner is not buying the excuses of Affleck that she even told him that behave well if he loves and respects her as a mother of their children. Up to this writing, no official statements from both parties were made available.

Meanwhile, Affleck's mom Christine Anne Boldt was allegedly disappointed when she first learned that her son and Garner are splitting up. In fact, she suggested the two to undergo counseling to save their marriage.

Moreover, IDesignTimes noted that Christine is "is ashamed and furious and in no uncertain terms told Ben that if he loses Jennifer it will be 'the biggest mistake of his life.'" She really thinks Garner is the best woman for her son.
