2016 will be a very exciting year to all Apple fans out there. Below, are the things they should expect in the company's most-anticipated gadgets:

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

While iPhone 6s is yet the best Apple smartphone available in the market, fans are now very excited to get the forthcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus; these are slated for release on September 2016.

According to reports, the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will drop the 3.5mm headphone jack standard to stick to its sleeker, slimmer and thinner than ever non-S iPhone edition. Hence, all music connections will work using the Lightning input or using wireless Bluetooth headphones.

"Apple uses newer technology, and opens more possibilities for sound," 9to5 Mac Senior Editor Mark Gurman said. "It also future-proofs Apple for a time when phones are even thinner than headphone jacks and gives them room for larger batteries and better camera systems. Anything Apple can remove from the phone is a benefit for them."

Apple Watch 2

With the astounding success of Apple Watch, it is not a big surprise if the American tech giant will release a new edition of the high-tech watch. CNet shared that the new, forthcoming Apple Watch 2 will be have a thinner and more elegant design.

Coming this 2016, Apple Watch 2 is said to be available in plating, liquid and titanium metal models. Though there are only few developments in its feature, the new Apple Watch is said to have a water resistance capability rating of IP67.

Also, it will include a smart bracelet and a front-facing video camera. Apple Watch 2 is expected to be released this coming March.

MacBook Air & MacBook Pro 2016

Rumor has it that the newest MacBook Air might be released in Spring 2016. The said laptop is said to have a thinner and lighter physique that includes Retina display, Force Touch pad and Intel Skylake processors.

According to reports, there will be no much difference between MacBook Pro and MacBook Air except from its RAM capacity and thinness. Apple is expected to release more details about these devices this coming March.

iOS 10

It is expected that Apple will release a sneak peek to its iOS upgrade in June. Aside from iOS 10, which the tech giant's mobile operation system, there will also be a system update on the latest OSX Mac OS.

iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 4

Newer and more improved versions of the iPad are set to be released this 2016.

Yahoo! Finance shared that iPad Mini 4 will feature Apple Pay and a fingerprint censor which is common to all Apple products of today. Aside from that, A8 chip will be embedded in the device which means that it will be faster than the previous iPad Mini 3.

On the other hand, Apple Insider informed that iPad Air 3 is said to feature a faster processor and Force Touch feature. Also, it will have an enhanced split-screen multitasking capability and an onscreen keyboard feature.
