Kim Kardashian Kanye West Baby Name Finally Revealed

Five days after birth, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby finally has a name - North West and her nickname is 'Nori'.

Dismissing all reports of naming their baby with initials 'K,' TMZ reported citing the birth certificate from the Cedars-Sinai Hospital that the baby has been named North and a source close to the couple confirmed it to People magazine. Later, the US Magazine reported the little one's nickname would be 'Nori.' Now that sounds like a name!

According to earlier reports, the new parents were rumored to be following the 'K' tradition and considering naming their baby as 'Kai Georgia Donda West,' that included Kim's late father and West's late mother's names. This was later denied by the Kardashian family.

There were reports in March that the baby would have a directional name, but were denied by Kim. "I do like Easton, Easton West," she said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno then.

However, there is no confirmation from the new parents about the baby's name. As all celebrities the couple allegedly wants to keep everything 'private.'

The 32-year-old reality star gave birth to the baby Saturday, five weeks before her due date. There are media reports that Kim may have been suffering from preeclampsia, which can prove fatal if not attended to in time.

Kim's younger sister Khloe Kardashian Odom tweeted saying the baby is a miracle. "I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now a part of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love," the new aunt tweeted adding that further information will be shared at the right time. The baby reportedly weighs less than 5 pounds.

Now that the baby is named North, it seems the couple has got a new direction in life.

There are news reports that Kanye West is so taken up with the baby and the mother that he wants everything to be legal and above board as soon as possible and is already planning a wedding.
