Madonna Says Her Daughter Doesn’t Talk to Her Anymore

She might be the 'Queen of Pop,' but Madonna too has difficulties raising teenaged children like any other average mother.

In an interview to Good Morning America, the 54-year-old singer shared her motherhood woes saying that her daughter, Lourdes Leon, hardly talks to her. "Ever since my daughter got an iPhone she stopped talking to me," said.

Madonna also admitted that she is a strict mother and she gave a mobile phone only to her 16-year-old daughter and that her 12-year-old son Rocco is not yet allowed one. However, the mother of four confessed that it is not a cell phone that Rocco fancies but girls. She said he is growing up way too fast and one can often find him looking at "girls' butts." "Terrible," she said shaking her head. But she said her son is the "showboat in the family."

The 'Ray of Light' singer said it is difficult for her accept the fact that her daughter is turning in to an adult. "Seeing my daughter at 16 - it's kind of uncomfortable. She's my little girl and she's also a woman," she said.

Mentioning her daughter's work life; Lourdes worked in the wardrobe department for some time, Madonna said she took her job "very seriously." "It had its unglamorous moments. They're disgusting and they're sweaty and they're rude," she said.

In April it was reported that Lourdes, who is dating 'Homeland' star, Timothee Chalamet, was upset with her father Carlos Leon's overprotective nature. A source told RadarOnline that Carlos is a very "watchful" father and has set some "very stern" rules for his teenage daughter. "Madonna was the villain because she was very firm when it came to school studies and manners early on, but that's changed as Lourdes has matured. Now she secretly gets a kick out of it when Lourdes complains to her about the curfew her dad's imposed and all the embarrassing questions he asks her and Timothee," the source said.
